Continuous Assessment
Comprises various methods such as assignments, quizzes/tests, and presentation papers.
Assessment is a systematic process of gathering, interpreting, and acting upon data related to student learning and experience for the purpose of developing a deep understanding of what students know, understand, and can do with their knowledge as a result of their educational experience: the process culminates when assessment results are used to improve subsequent learning.
Scheduling of Assessment will be administered at the end of each course.
Final Assessment Timetable (Certain courses may not have final assessment) – Students upon completion of each course will LOG-IN to check on the date of Final Assessment based on INTAKE period. Final Assessment will be administered in accordance with INTAKE period.
NO REPLACEMENT
No replacement and no cancellation of the final assessment date will be granted in the same INTAKE period. A strong reminder to students to check-in for their assessment according to their INTAKE period. Failure to sit on the scheduled date may defer your graduation as you may need to wait for final assessment in the next INTAKE period.

Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)
Assessment is an on-going process that helps to track and monitor the learning progress of the students and to measure achievements of the learning outcomes. The assessment methods adopted within the courses will be sufficiently varied to enable the student to develop the full range of knowledge and competencies.
The summative assessments (e.g. tests, quizzes, assignments, case studies, project and other course components) and the final assessment shall serve as evaluation tools to gauge the student’s performance and the marks will be recorded at all stages. Students are required to take all of the different assessment components in order to pass the course.
Student's Assessment Performance
The student’s performance is determined at the end of each course by the Point System. The total Points of all the courses in the program will be calculated to determine the Point Average.
NOTE:
A student shall be on probation pass when obtaining a CGPA of 2.00 but not less than 1.67 (1.67 ≤ CGPA < 2.00) provided that the student did not get an ‘F’ grade in more than two (2) core courses.
The grade obtained for each course shall be based on the overall assessment performance comprising of the summative (e.g., tests, quizzes, assignments, case studies, project, and other course components) and formative final assessments for the course.
The lowest grade for a clear pass shall be “C” with a quality point equivalent to 2.00. A student who obtains a “CONDITIONAL PASS” grade is required to re-sit for the course. A student who obtains a “FAIL” grade is required to repeat the course.
The assessment performance of the student for the course is reflected by the grade received. The standing of the grade and point received is as shown in the table above with indication as FAILURE, CONDITIONAL STANDING, GOOD to EXCELLENT STANDING.
